Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

Day 1 Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay
Drive
through rice paddy fields to Ha Long Bay. Board the Au Co Cruise and sail leisurely to Ho Ba Ham islets in Lan Ha Bay. Enjoy the mystic scenery of the bay while having lunch. Freely join in some activities as: swimming, guided kayaking (weather permitting), Vietnamese tea ceremony after arriving at Ho Ba Ham islets area in late afternoon. While anchored, a special 5 elements signature dinner of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water will be served. Attending a short lecture of Ha Long Bay and The Gulf of Tonkin before going to bed is optional.

Day 2 Cat Ba Island – Bai Tu Long Bay

Start your day with an option of learning Tai Chi lessons on the sundeck and enjoying the beautiful bays before breakfast. The first destination of the day is Cat Ba Island where you will take a guided excursion to visit Viet Hai village and the Au Co green farm. Return to The Au Co Cruise and start cruising. Have your lunch on board while passing different floating villages in Bai Tu Long Bay. You can choose to relax or to visit Cong Dam village by kayak or Vietnamese rowboat. Enjoy dinner and overnight in Cong Do area.

Day 3 Ha Long Bay – Hanoi

Take a delightful morning cruise through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Ha Long Bay before returning to the dock. Drive back to Hanoi.

* OPTIONAL: Water puppet show at the village

While in the Red River delta, take in a traditional water puppet performance at a village. After leaving Ha Long Bay, take a scenic drive to a small village known as the birthplace of water puppetry in the Red River Delta. Take delight in watching an authentic outdoor water puppet performance while sampling local delicacies. Local artisans will then present you with a wooden water puppet as a souvenir. Drive back to Hanoi.
